A man who allegedly threatened a woman with a firearm last week has been charged over a massive a haul of guns and drugs.
A 32-year-old Everard Park man will face court on Monday, charged with threatening to kill or endanger life, and two counts of possessing a firearm.
He is also facing four counts of trafficking a controlled drug and traffic offences.
Police allege the man attended a Torrensville address last Thursday and threatened a woman with a firearm.
The following day, police say the suspect was driving in Everard Park when a patrol began to follow the man before he came to a stop on David Ave, Black Forest, where he attempted to run.
However, he was arrested a short distance away.
Police searched the vehicle and allegedly found a loaded .22 sawn-off rifle, a sawn-off shotgun, ammunition, cannabis, 30g of ecstasy, 100g of methamphetamine, 4g of cocaine, an amount of cash and other drug paraphernalia.
The man’s Everard Park home was also searched, with officers allegedly finding a .22 sawn-off rifle, ammunition and ecstasy.
A woman was also at the address – a 33-year-old from Blair Athol – and she was arrested without incident and charged with two counts of possessing a firearm.
The duo were both refused police bail and are expected to appear in Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later on Monday.
