A man remains on the run after threatening staff and stealing cash from a hotel in the northwestern suburbs on Saturday night.
About 6.15pm, police were called to the Prince of Wales Hotel on Port Rd, at Queenstown, after a man armed with a knife entered the hotel and threatened staff.
He stole cash and was last seen heading south on Port Rd.
No one was physically injured in the robbery.
The suspect was described as being of caucasian appearance, aged 30 to 40 years and about 180cm tall.
He was wearing a black and grey long sleeved top and jeans, and carrying a green bag.
Western District Police searched the area for the suspect on Saturday night.
Police are asking motorists who were travelling along Port Road at the time to review their dashcam footage and contact police if they captured a man fitting the description.
