Man in hospital in serious condition after two Harleys collide

A man is fighting for his life in Flinders Medical Centre after two Harley Davidsons collided on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after two Harley Davidson motorcycles collided.

Police were called to Bull Creek Road at Tooperang, about 10km from Mount Compass, at 1.40pm on Sunday after reports of the collision.

The rider of one of the motorbikes, a 62-year-old man from Gillies Plains, was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with life threatening injuries.

The second rider, a 49-year-old man from Sellicks Beach, was not injured.

It is not know if the men were travelling together.

Bull Creek Road was closed while Major Crash Investigators examined the scene but has since re-opened.
