A staff member has been hurt after a man allegedly entered a western suburbs store with a knife and stole groceries – before things went awry when he dropped his phone.

A man will face court accused of assaulting a supermarket worker and attempting to steal groceries from a supermarket on Monday night.
About 6.45pm police were called to a supermarket on Marion Rd at South Plympton after a man entered the store and allegedly stole groceries.
Police say when the man left the store a staff member confronted him, and he dropped the goods and produced a knife.
The accused also dropped his phone as he allegedly tried to run from the scene.
A staff member picked up the phone and returned to the store. The suspect made his way back and tried to grab the phone, then allegedly assaulted the worker, pushing her to the ground.
The worker suffered minor injuries.
The suspect allegedly ran from the area and was found by police a short distance away in the rear yard of a home on Raglan Ave.
A 23-year-old man from no fixed address was arrested without incident and has been charged with assault and aggravated robbery.
He was refused police bail and will appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
It comes after a duo allegedly robbed an IGA supermarket while brandishing what appeared to be a firearm last week.
It is alleged two men entered the supermarket on Heysen Dr at Trott Park, with one armed with what looked like a gun.
The men allegedly stole $7000 in cash and dozens of packets of cigarettes while they pointed a firearm at the employee and fled the store on foot.
Both men were charged with aggravated robbery and possessing prohibited weapons and faced the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The men applied for bail, but have been remanded in custody until the face court again in May.
