Teens, 16 and 15, arrested after alleged service station robbery in Seaford

A 16-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy have been arrested after the pair allegedly robbed a service station, threatening the worker with a knife.

Two teenagers have been arrested over an alleged theft at a Seaford service station after they threatened the attendant with a knife.

Police were alerted to the disturbance on Tuesday at 3.30pm, at a service station on Shearer Drive.

The two teens allegedly stole items from the store and when they were confronted by the attendant – they produced a knife before running from the scene.

The attendant was shoved but otherwise unharmed.

Police tracked the pair to the nearby Seaford Meadow railway station, – there the officers also recovered the knife they say was used in the robbery.

A 16-year-old Warradale girl and a 15-year-old Morphett Vale boy were both arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

The girl was refused police bail an will appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on Wednesday.

The boy was bailed to appear in court on 1 August.

Drunk driver falls asleep in fast food drive-thru

A man who fell asleep behind the wheel on a late night trip through a takeaway drive-thru has been arrested.

Police were called to a Woodville fast food restaurant just after midnight on June 18 to find the sleeping man behind the wheel at the restaurant.

SA Police Senior Constable Scott James told FIVEaa the 37-year-old, of no fixed addressed, blew 0.110 and was arrested and charged with drink driving.

“Just after midnight this morning patrols were called to a fast food restaurant on Port Rd at Woodville after reports a car had entered the drive through and the driver fell asleep at the wheel,” he said.

He was issued an immediate six-month loss of licence and granted bail to appear at the Port Adelaide Magistrate Court at a later date.
