Two men have assaulted a man and stolen his Toyota in a violent carjacking in a McDonald’s carpark.

A man has been injured and had his Toyota Camry stolen in a violent carjacking in a McDonald’s carpark at Elizabeth.
Police were called to the carpark of the McDonald’s on Elizabeth Way about 7.50am on Sunday after reports two unknown males had assaulted the victim and stolen his vehicle.
The culprits had fled by the time patrols arrived.

A search later found the stolen white Toyota Camry dumped on nearby on Kettering Rd, but the offenders had left the scene.
The police helicopter and police dog Cooper were also unable to find the offenders.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the assault and Northern District detectives are investigating.
