A young man is fighting for life after he was stabbed at Salisbury North.
It is believed the local man, 23, was at an undisclosed location before he returned to an address at Kulbina Drive with the injuries.
When emergency crews arrived at the home just before 3am, they discovered the victim with a stab wound to the stomach.
He was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains with life threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing but police do not believe the attack was random.
It follows a roadside stabbing at Kilburn in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Two men were walking along Northcote St about 12.20am when a car stopped near them and four men got out.
An altercation ensued and one of the men stabbed the victim in the legs with a knife before the group drove away.
The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
The four suspects, who were described as being of African appearance, remain at large.
