A 25-year-old man who allegedly forced three cyclists off the road has faced court.
James Leslie Reardon, 25, attended Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with three counts of endangering life, failing to stop and property damage as well as failing to identify as a driver to police.
Police allege Reardon struck or forced three cyclists off the road in separate incidents on Lady Gowrie Dr at North Haven between 6.30am and 7.30am on August 5.
A witness of the first incident described how the cyclist was rammed, thrown off his bicycle and fell on to the verge of the road, causing bruising and grazes.
The second incident saw a cyclist forced into another dirt verge, while the third was thrown off his bike, causing significant damage to the bicycle
Police discovered the offending car, a stolen Ford Fairmont on August 10 on the corner of Clayton Ave and Wheaton Rd at Plympton.
Reardon was arrested on August 26.
He faced Magistrate Jay McGrath on Wednesday, who denied an application to have his bail conditions altered after his lawyer asked that the curfew be lifted.
Ms McGrath said the charges Reardon was facing were too serious.
