Investigations continue as mystery surrounds dead body found in Mount Gambier home
Police are investigating an unexplained death after a strange smell emanating from a home prompted a hazmat response.

Investigations are continuing into an unexplained death at Mount Gambier.
Police were called to a home on Pick Ave just after 1pm on Wednesday after a person was seen collapsed at a property.
Upon arrival, a toxic smell halted police from entering the home and the Metropolitan Fire Service attended to investigate the hazardous smells.
Police confirmed officers entered once the property was safe and found a body inside.
Detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Branch and Forensic Response officers attended the scene last night to assist Mount Gambier police.
The investigators will return to the scene this morning and police continue to conduct further investigations to determine the cause of death.
