Heath Mason, 46, in court charged with 10 counts of non-consensual sex, distributing invasive images of women

An Adelaide businessman has appeared in court facing nearly 30 allegations of horrific offences against women, including 10 counts of sex without consent.

The owner of an Adelaide electrical business charged with distributing “invasive” images of women now faces multiple counts of non-consensual sex across more than a decade.

Heath Chance Mason, 46, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with 10 counts of engaging in sexual intercourse with a person without consent and 16 counts of knowingly distribute invasive images of a person without their consent.

He is yet to enter any pleas.

Court documents released to The Advertiser allege the sexual offending occurred between December 31, 2011, and November 27, 2022.

Mr Mason, of Aldinga Beach, first appeared in court in January after he was arrested and charged by SA’s elite JACET officers in December – who alleged he created, uploaded and distributed invasive images of women without their knowledge on four occasions.

Just a month later, as a result of an ongoing investigation, he was further charged with 10 counts of engaging in sexual intercourse without a person’s consent and another 12 counts of distributing invasive images.

Mr Mason is the owner of Aldinga and Surrounds Electrical.

JACET’s Investigations Manager, Detective Senior Sergeant Graham Tomkins, said the initial arrest was just the “tip of an iceberg”, as forensic analysts worked “tirelessly” on the case.

On Wednesday, Magistrate Luke Davis adjourned the matter and remanded Mr Mason on continuing bail to appear in court in July.
