On Monday, November 18, the driver – a 69-year-old Goolwa woman – was reported for driving without due care.

Emergency services had rushed to the popular bakery on Hutchinson St at Goolwa at about 11am, after the car veered off the road and slammed into the building.

State Emergency Service crews went to the scene and helped to shore up the structure, while the car was towed away.

The bakery was forced to shut, however, reopened its doors after almost three weeks out of action on Saturday, November 16.
