An elderly woman is fighting for her life after being hit by a car on Woodville Rd.
Police and emergency services rushed to Woodville Rd at Woodville South after reports of a crash between a Holden sedan and a pedestrian around 12.20pm on Monday.
The 85-year-old female pedestrian from Rosewater was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She is in a critical condition.
The 87-year-old driver from Findon was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after the accident for a routine blood test and medical assessment.
Major Crash officers are now investigating.
Woodville Road has been closed for southbound traffic between Port and Findon roads.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
This follows the single-vehicle fatal crash involving a 32-year-old man from Reedy Creek, on Saturday, February 25.
