Reedy Creek man dies in Princes Highway crash
A man has died after a Toyota ute was found in a drain near a major highway – while another man lost his licence after blowing way over the limit.

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the state’s South-East.
Police and emergency services were called to the Princes Hwy, 500m south of Bowaka Rd, just after 11.30am on Saturday after a Toyota utility was found in a drain off the highway.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 32-year-old man from Reedy Creek, died at the scene.
The Princes Hwy, between Avenue Range and Koonetta roads, was closed for several hours while Major Crash investigators attended the scene.
The man’s death is the 24th life lost on SA roads this year compared with 10 this time last year.
On Tuesday, a 52-year-old Murray Mallee man died after a serious single-car crash at Lameroo.
The driver of the Toyota Hilux, and only occupant of the car, died at the scene.
This comes as a drink driver has lost his licence for 12 months after crashing his car at Blyth.
Emergency services were called to Blyth Rd at 8pm on Saturday night after reports of a car crash.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man, returned a positive breath test reading of 0.195. He was the car’s sole occupant.
The man, from Snowtown, is expected to appear in court at a later date.
