A Bordertown man disqualified from holding a drivers licence has now been penalised for driving around town in a go-kart.
Police received a report earlier this month of a person riding in a go-kart on several occasions along Ramsey Tce in the upper South East town.
Following investigations, Bordertown police on Sunday went to a home on Cotton St and spoke with a many they say is the owner and rider of the vehicle.
The local man, 27, had been disqualified from holding a licence and the go-kart was not registered.
He was reported for driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving without a licence.
The go-kart was impounded and the man is expected to face a magistrates court at a later date.
