Beverley man and woman arrested over drug and cash raid
Police say they have disabled a “significant criminal enterprise” after a man, 40, and woman, 34, were charged over a large haul of drugs and cash.

A couple have been charged with multiple money and drug offences after police found a huge stash of drugs and cash in a western suburbs home on Thursday.
Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch (SOCB) swooped on a house in Beverley about 9.30am on Thursday, August 31.
Following a search of the property, they found more than $114k in cash, 150 grams of methamphetamine, one litre of fantasy, a small quantity of cocaine, electronic items suspected of being stolen and false identification documents.
Police said a man, 40, and woman, 34, from the address, were charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs and money laundering.
The man was also charged with breaching his bail conditions, with police expecting further charges to be laid as investigations continue.
The suspects are set to appear at the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday, after being refused police bail.
In a statement on Friday, officer in charge of SOCB, Detective Chief Inspector David Huddy, said the arrests impaired a “significant criminal enterprise”.
“The arrests, along with seizures of cash, drugs and false identification documents have led to the disabling of a significant criminal enterprise.”
