A woman accused of “colluding” with a man to murder her ex-wife and defiling her corpse has wept in court while being granted strict home detention bail.
Anastasia Marshall cried throughout her Supreme Court appearance on Friday, which saw her granted bail after months in custody.
Ms Marshall, 29, has yet to plead one count each of murder, arson and defiling human remains to pervert the course of justice.
The charges arise from the discovery of the body of her former wife Krystal, 38, at their Aldinga Beach home last year.
Previously, prosecutors have alleged Ms Marshall conspired with her co-accused – Johnathan Paul Parker, 48 – to avoid any blame for the death.
Mr Parker’s identity was initially suppressed before the order was revoked in April.
Prosecutors also alleged Ms Marshall had given police “multiple versions” of events leading up to Krystal’s death, and had discussed finding the home addresses of witnesses.
On Friday, Justice Tim Stanley granted Ms Marshall strict home detention bail, warning her to abide by it closely or risk being returned to custody.
She will next face the Adelaide Magistrates Court in July.
