A 71-year-old man has been charged on multiple counts of rape on a victim known to him.
The Adelaide man was arrested by Special Crime Investigation detectives on Wednesday.
SA Police have charged him with multiple counts of rape, indecent assault, unlawful detention and firearms offences.
Police allege the incidents happened between January 2017 and September 2021, and allege the victim was known to the man.
He was refused police bail and will appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon.
