An 84-year-old man has died after his Hyundai Sedan crashed into a fence at Whyalla Stuart on Monday.
The incident happened at around 12pm on Shard Crescent. The local man was the only person in the car and died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators are expected to travel from Adelaide on Tuesday to look into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The man is the 40th person to die on South Australian roads this year.
The state’s road toll this time last year was 59.
