A woman has died after her van rolled in the state’s Far North.
Police and emergency services were called to the Stuart Hwy, about 50km north of Coober Pedy, just before 6.30pm Thursday, August 15 after reports of a vehicle rollover.
The driver – a 37-year-old woman from Victoria – died at the scene.
Road restrictions were in place while a preliminary investigation was conducted but roads have now reopened.
Major Crash Officers will go to the scene on Friday.
The woman’s death is the 55th life lost on SA roads.
