Emergency services rush to Mount Willoughby following van rollover

Road restrictions have been put in place along parts of a major highway following a van rollover in the state’s far north.

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash at Mount Willoughby in the state’s far north where a van has reportedly rolled.

The incident occurred just before 6.30pm on Stuart Highway, around 50 kilometres north of Coober Pedy.

Road restrictions are in place and are expected to remain for most of the evening.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.

Major crash investigators have been notified of the incident.
