25-year-old Nuriootpa man and 34-year-old Williamstown man charged over separate vehicle-related offences
A 34-year-old man has lost his licence and had his car impounded after he was allegedly clocked driving at an eye-boggling speed in the Barossa Valley.

A 34-year-old man has lost his licence and had his car impounded after he was allegedly clocked driving 82km/h over the speed limit in the Barossa Valley on Friday.
Police said the man, of Williamstown, was detected driving a red Mitsubishi Lancer at 182km/h in a 100kn/h zone on Williamstown Rd about 4.30pm.
He was reported for extreme speed and driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle. He was issued with an immediate loss of licence for 12 months and his car impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Tanunda Magistrates Court at a later date.
Meanwhile, between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday, police were called after ten vehicles were found either damaged or with their number plates removed in Baird and MacArthur streets, in Nuriootpa.
About the same time period, police said one nearby business was broken into with further damage and thefts committed.
After investigations, a 25-year-old Nuriootpa man was arrested and charged with ten counts of property damage, one count of serious criminal trespass and one count of theft.
He was bailed to appear in the Tanunda Magistrates Court on May 7.
