Sturt names classy defender Tom Harms for elimination final battle against Norwood
Sturt regained a classy defender for the elimination final clash against Norwood, but lost a talented youngster because of injury while Port Adelaide names 18 AFL-listed players for its qualifying final against Adelaide. See all the league, reserves and U18 teams.
Sturt has mixed fortunes at selection for the elimination final clash against Norwood at Adelaide Oval on Saturday with Tom Harms to resume from concussion.
However, the Double Blues will be without young defender Rory Illman after he damaged his hamstring at training at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday night.
Harms was named in a 23-man squad, along with Hahndorf products Adam Trenorden and Joel Parker-Boers, who would make their league debut if they survive the final cull.
Trenorden, a midfielder/half forward, captained the club’s under 18 premiership side in 2017, while Parker-Boers is a defender who has risen from the under 18 ranks this season to impress in the reserves.
Port Adelaide has named 18 AFL-listed players in its 23-man squad for the qualifying final clash against Adelaide, while the Crows will have 13 plus marquee player Matt Wright.
