NRLW star Millie Boyle is now engaged to partner Adam Elliott after the star forward dropped down on one knee on his birthday.
In a beautiful moment which was captured by Knights media staff on Sunday, Elliott put a ring on it after earlier this year making a decision to move from the Raiders to be with Boyle in Newcastle.
The Daily Telegraph reports Elliott redesigned his great grandmother’s ring before popping the question on Sunday.

The Newcastle Heraldreports Newcastle Knights content creator Jae Nelson was there to capture the special moment.
The photos were shared by the couple on social media
“Can not wait to marry the absolute love of my life,” Boyle, 24, posted Instagram.
“A very unexpected morning swim on Adam’s birthday turned into the most beautiful proposal.”
It is the second ring Boyle has received in a number of weeks after she led the Knights to the NRLW premierships earlier this month, the club’s maiden premiership in its second season in the competition.
Elliott was seen in tears sitting on the sideline as Boyle delivered a premiership victory speech during the official post-match presentations.
The heartwarming scenes continued when Elliott, wearing Boyle’s premiership ring and a jumper with her name on it, carried her on his shoulders as the Knights celebrated their big win.
The pair have emerged as one of the best stories in rugby league after their romance started out by bringing the game into disrepute.
The couple caused a stir when they first got together after the pair were discovered by security in a restaurant bathroom.
Boyle maintained it was “an innocent kiss” but Elliott was reportedly escorted out of the venue without a shirt on.
He was fined $10,000 by the league for bringing the game into disrepute and ultimately parted ways with the Bulldogs, agreeing to walk out on his contract with a reported two years and a $1 million on the table.
Soon after the scandal however, the pair revealed they were in a committed relationship and have become one of the sport’s power couples.
Boyle poked fun at the situation with an Instagram post, writing: “Lost a milli. gained a Millie.”
The pair also grew up together in the south-east NSW town of Bega.
Boyle had spent three years at the Broncos prior to joining Newcastle and won the NRLW Dally M player of the season earlier in the year, while the Knights victory is her fourth title.
Elliott has joined the Knights on a reported three-year $1.4m deal after an impressive season with the Raiders this year.
