Four rounds remain in the under-16 regular season.
South’s Tom Schirmer said the live coverage of his side’s Noarlunga meeting with Glenelg would give its finals hopes a boost.
The ruck/forward said his teammates were eager to bounce back to form after a loss to West Adelaide last week.
“I feel like the boys knowing it’s going to be live streamed and having a wider audience, they’ll perform a bit better,” Schirmer, 15, said.
“It’s pretty important for us to win.
“We are coming off a loss and we didn’t start too well last week, so hopefully we can get the win.”
Glenelg captain Ben Ridgway was similarly keen to be part of the first live streamed game on advertiser.com.au.
“It makes me excited,” Ridgway, 16, said.
“I believe we are a really good team and when we get things rolling, we can really work together well and play some good footy.
“If we play our brand of footy and get our structures right we will come out with a good result.
“Winning would mean we could get a bit of a break from the others.
“If we win this, we will go a game ahead of South and, depending on some other results, a game ahead of some other teams.”
