Volleyball SA GM Anne-Marie McAinsh said this year’s Schools Cup finals are more important than ever.
“Various Schools Cup events have been cancelled due to Covid so the importance of having a high-quality competition now is so much higher,” McAinsh said.
“It’s always an amazing competition, the standard goes up every year and we’re now seeing advanced skills like jump-serving and other complex attacking plays through the middle hitters at even the lower year levels.
“Many of the Open Honours players on show will also be invited to join the SA or even National training academies, so they are must-watch talents.”
