It’s 10 games now this season and 22 all up since West Adelaide last tasted victory after they succumbed to a 36-point defeat to the Crows.
They did at least give hope to their fans early and the eventual result had looked highly unlikely at halftime when the underdogs actually led by 16 points after kicking eight goals.
But the Crows roared back, kicking 10 of the final 11 goals to win by 36 points, 15-12 (102) to 9-12 (66).
Earlier, West Adelaide suffered a heavy defeat to Norwood in a one-sided reserves match.
And in more live streamed reserve grade action, Woodville-West Torrens pulled off a 26-point victory over Central District.

PREVIEW: Is this the turning point for Bloods?
SANFL battlers West Adelaide will aim to end its 22-game winless run when it takes on Adelaide.
West’s losing streak, which dates back more than 400 days to round nine last year, was almost broken last time out when the side came within a kick of upsetting top four side Glenelg.
Both teams will be fresh coming off a bye, but the Bloods’ task will not be an easy one with third-placed Adelaide posing a significant opponent to overcome.
The Crows have lost their past two matches but welcome the likes of 189-game AFL-listed defender Luke Brown and first round draft pick Fisher McAsey into the side.
To add to the intrigue, a former Blood could also make his debut in Crows colours.
Brett Turner, who played 64 games for West before switching to Glenelg, has been named in the squad after Adelaide selected him in the mid-season draft earlier this month.
For the Bloods, Michael Mattingly will debut after being recruited from Kyabram ahead of the season while Charlie Allan, Matthew McKenzie, Nick Steele and Jordon Boyle have also been included in the squad.
