Cooper, who also plays for Garville, said she was confident the team could achieve big things.
“We’re excited and we’re all ready to play,” Cooper said.
“Our goal is to win and I’m confident in our team, practice has been really good and I’ve been able to work on a lot of my skills, so I’m ready to go.”
While the players remained as competitive as ever, they were also excited to come together as a team and meet new netballers.
North Haven School’s McKinnon said her main aim would be to enjoy the experience.
“I’m really looking forward to the carnival and I’m hoping to mainly have fun with my teammates,” she said.
“We want to win as many games as possible, but have fun while we’re doing it.”
