The rising stars of the Limestone Coast put on a show on the Netball SA Country Championships finals day to take out a country championship double. Watch all the REPLAYS from the finals.

Limestone Coast has pulled off a Netball SA Country Championships Division 1 double after winning the Under-17s and Under-15s titles on Monday.

But the two grand final wins were nothing alike.

The Coast’s under-17 brigade were simply unstoppable on their way to the country championships crown.

The region’s best rising stars capped off a perfect tournament with a dominant 30-9 win over Great Southern in Monday’s grand final.

Goal attack Macey Griffith showed her sharpshooting ability with 17 goals, while her partnership and almost sixth-sense with goal shooter Mylee Lynch was too much for the Great Southern defenders in the first half.

But the best work came from the Limestone Coast mid-court, who appeared to have an extra player on the court with how often they cut off their opposition raids through intercepts and high-pressure turnovers.

The grand final win was the icing on a big weekend for the Limestone Coast girls who had made short work of Port Augusta and Riverland in Monday’s finals after cruising through the round games with seven wins.

The Limestone Coast Under-15 side had to fight tooth and nail to hold off a fast-finishing Barossa, Light and Gawler in the decider.

After managing to get a couple of goals against the centre pass, the Limestone Coast side had set-up a four-goal lead at the main break, but it never felt like they had the title sealed.

Some particularly sharp work from wing defence Lucy Crowe helped the side maintain the lead, while goal attack Mischa Human finished with an impressive 13 goals from 14 attempts.

In the Under-13s, Hills were crowned Division 1 champions after defeating rivals Southern Hills Gold 30-17 in the grand final.
