Maggie Kerr hit 46 shots from 48 attempts to help lift South Adelaide into next Friday night’s Netball SA Premier grand final against Contax.
Kerr, who was kept quiet in the major semifinal defeat to Contax, produced a wonderful performance under pressure as the Panthers returned to their best to beat Garville 73-55 in the preliminary final.
South Adelaide kicked clear early and were never headed, with skipper Jess Paradiso adding 27 goals.
They led by 23-14 at quartertime before pushing their advantage out to 11 goals at halftime and 18 goals at the final break after a 20-goal quarter.
Earlier, Matrics set up a grand final shwodown with long-time rivals Contax with a commanding 57-41 victory over Oakdale in the reserves preliminary final.

PREVIEW
Former Netball SA Premier League MVP Jess Paradiso is confident her South Adelaide side can bounce back from their disappointing major semi-final loss and reach the grand final.
The Panthers will aim to right the wrongs of an unexpected heavy defeat last week when they meet Garville in Friday night’s preliminary final. A match-up with Contax in this year’s big dance is the reward for the winner.

“It was a very disappointing result for us, we didn’t play the way we know we can,” Paradiso said of the Contax defeat.
“We’ve had a look at the replays and worked on some things this week.
“We’re hungry and ready to fight for a spot in the grand final – we don’t want to end the season on a loss.”
South Adelaide went into finals in great form having finished on top of the ladder, but faced a tough test against a fired up reigning premier Contax.
They will need to be at their best this week to overcome Garville.
Finishing third on the ladder, Garville has been in league-best form in the latter part of the season and added to what is now an impressive six-game winning streak by beating Matrics by 13 last Friday.
Paradiso said her and her side were expecting a tough and competitive game.
“Obviously they’re in strong form,” Paradiso said.
“We know it’s going to be quite physical and we know they can do some different things in attack and defence, so we’ll need to be ready.
“We’ve worked a lot on our basics this week, getting back to our quick gameplay and a few different strategies.
“Getting the win would mean a lot to us as a team and individually as well – to get to the grand final and have another chance against Contax, and at the ultimate success, would be huge.”
Matrics will take on Oakdale in the Reserves clash, an exciting matchup between second and third.
