A son of a gun Port Adelaide draft prospect and one of the most exciting teenage key forwards in the country will go head-to-head in Saturday's SANFL under-18 preliminary final.
Three days after his uncle, four-times AFL premiership star Shaun Burgoyne, announced he would be returning to Alberton at the end of the season in an off-field role, his nephew Jase Burgoyne looms as Woodville-West Torrens’ trump card in its knockout under-18 final against West Adelaide at Thebarton Oval.

Midfielder Jase, 18, is one of South Australia’s most exciting draft prospects this year.
He is a father-son prospect for Port, with his dad, 2004 premiership player Peter, playing 240 games for the Power from 1997 to 2009.
Midfielder Burgoyne had an equal game-high 29 disposals in the Eagles’ 52-point second semi-final loss to Glenelg last week and is rated by State under-19 coach Tony Bamford as an “elite talent’’ who possesses the same silky skills as his uncle.
“He has speed, acceleration, terrific agility and clean hands and once he gets another 10kg heavier, boy oh boy, he’s that talented he could turn into the next Shaun Burgoyne,’’ Bamford said.
While Burgoyne, who has been named on a wing, will be charged with presenting his forwards with opportunities to kick a winning score, a giant Bloods forward will be trying to impact the scoreboard at the other end.
Seventeen-year-old Harry Lemmey, a State under-age cricketer, played two league games for West this season and didn’t look out of place on the big stage.
He kicked a goal and took an impressive seven marks in his league debut against Port at Richmond Oval in round 15 and also booted a major in round 18 against minor premier Glenelg.
Lemmey, who stands at an imposing 199cm and 90kg and attends Scotch College, is too young to be drafted this year but looms as a top-10 selection next year.

He kicked three goals and hauled in five marks in West’s tight, 11-point under-18 first semi-final victory against South Adelaide last week.
Senior coach Brad Gotch said Lemmey had already shown enough “to suggest he’s going to have a very bright future’’.
“His strength is going to be his aerial work but his workrate for a young kid is pretty amazing and I’m excited to see what he can do moving forward,’’ Gotch said.
