Mourinho out: Is Gunnar back in?

Manchester United have sacked manager Jose Mourinho, and later in the day the Premier League giant appeared to accidentally announce his replacement on its website.

Mourinho exit a long time coming

The relationship between Manchester United and its surly manager Jose Mourinho was damaged beyond repair and being brushed aside by Liverpool was the final straw.

City adds to United’s pain with derby thrashing

As if things couldn’t get any worse for Manchester United, the Red Devils have been handed a 3-1 derby defeat and are now 12 points behind the top of the table Manchester City. But the bad news doesn’t stop there.
