A football fan has been left heartbroken after missing out on a million dollar payout after cashing out minutes before full time.

A Liverpool fan missed out on ­$1.5 million in a Premier League punt — by ­cashing out minutes before full-time.

Ethan Conway, 24, staked $420 on three exact season-end scores last Sunday, The Sun reports.

Conway predicted Manchester United to defeat Brighton 2-0, Liverpool to defeat Wolves 2-0 and Tottenham Hotspur to defeat Sheffield United 3-0.

He cashed out for $9864 with United leading 1-0 and was “over the moon” at his luck — then tragedy struck as Rasmus Højlund found the back of the net in the 88th-minute.

If the scaffolder had held his nerve he would have won $1,565,213 on the $3,717 to 1 punt.

“I’m heartbroken”, he said.

“It’s just the 50/50 chance of it.

“You either cash out or you don’t. My family and friends were in disbelief as well — but they’re happy I won the five grand.”

The moment his mistake was realised.

Ethan, of Mountain Ash, South Wales, added: “It was just a rough guess and it came in. Pure luck.

“There’s no chance I’ll be betting again soon. I’ll have to get over this one first. I’ve won and run.”

Manchester City held on to win the Premier League title, making it their fourth straight win in England’s top flight competition.
