A number of fan favourites will be missing from this A-League’s Women’s season but clubs have still managed to attract some rising international stars Down Under.

Singapore’s top goal scorer Danelle Tan could challenge Michelle Heyman in the race for the Golden Boot this season.

Tan, signed to Brisbane Roar, isn’t the only international star – 13 different nationalities are represented in this year’s ALW.

Venezuelan striker Mariana Speckmaier was a standout for Phoenix last season and will be one to watch at City.

Alex Chidac, Chloe Logarzo, Kyah Simon and Holly McNamara (on her return) are all expected to shine as they push to earn a spot in the national team.

There is plenty of young talent to keep an eye on as well this season like Petra Trimis, Sophie Harding, Hana Lowry and Naomi Chinnama.

Here are the top 30 players to watch this ALW season.
