After a painful start to the season, Brothers coach Phil Dumpleton believes his side is edging towards its first win.
The Fury will have two chances to fix their winless start to the season this weekend, with an extra round of fixtures to be played on Sunday afternoon as part of Cairns Hockey’s condensed season.
After three straight losses, Brothers showed signs of improvement in last week’s 1-1 draw with Saints.
Dumpleton said he was confident they would be better again on Saturday night.
“They’re just coming together more as a team, playing to the structure and to what we’ve outlined as what we’re trying to achieve,” he said.
The coach, who also plays for Brothers' A-grade men’s team, said the return of Dannan Findlay and Rachel Fullerton from injury would be a boost for the side.

“With them two coming back into the squad, it means we can have a proper rotation system to save and look after the legs,” he said.
“We only had one sub last weekend, this week we’ve got three, so we’ll hopefully be doing one better than what we did last week.”
