Port Adelaide captain Tom Jonas has said two particular draftees have impressed him over the pre-season as the Power looks to return to the finals in 2020.

Port Adelaide skipper Tom Jonas has praised two draftees while answering questions from fans on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
The key defender rated father-son selection Jackson Mead and tall forward Mitch Georgiades as the two standouts so far.

“They’ve all been super impressive,” Jonas said.
“But the poise and polish of Jackson Mead and athleticism and work rate of Mitch Georgiades have been the standouts.”
Jonas added the standard new draftees come to AFL clubs with is higher than ever before.
“I think they come to the club pretty well equipped in this day and age,” he said.
“Our role as senior players is to make them feel at home and help them pick up the game plan ASAP.”
Georgiades is not alone as an impressive tall this summer, with Jonas also identifying Pete Ladhams and star full forward Charlie Dixon as the biggest improvers in addition to youngster Tobin Cox.
