Crows midfield star Ebony Marinoff led the competition in disposals (205), kicks (130) and average disposals per game (22.8) in 2019.
And she was second best when it came to handballs (75), average handballs per game (8.3), tackles (74) and average tackles per game (8.2).
However, a career-best season isn’t enough to satisfy the Crows’ dual-premiership and All-Australian onballer, and she has enlisted some of the best help to address what she believes is the one thing currently lacking in her game.

“I’m known for my tackling and contested ball, but I would like to be able to kick more goals,” she said.
“So, I’ve been working on that with Andrew McLeod in some sessions.”
Despite her incredible ability to gather the ball, Marinoff has only managed three goals in her 24 appearances for the Crows.
McLeod, who joined the Crows’ AFLW side as a midfield coach ahead of the 2018 season, kicked 275 goals in 340 games in the AFL for Adelaide.

Marinoff said the Crows’ AFLW midfield was always learning from one of the best players of all time at West Lakes.
“We are so lucky to have him in our mid group, he’s one of the best to have played the game,” she said.
“I just ask him as much as possible, to be able to have someone like that to lean on and ask for advice is just amazing.
“He is there to make us better and he knows just so much that helps us.”
