Chris Mayne (Coll) Mid

Scores: 84, 130

If no coach swooped on Maybe after his 84-point performance in Round 1, be sure to get in first this week. The former Docker, who posted three SuperCoach tons last year, tallied 33 disposals, 11 marks and a goal in the Magpies big win over the Tigers. And by the looks of it, Collingwood will be sharing the footy around this season.

Ricky Henderson (Haw) Mid

Scores: 82, 136

Henderson’s midfield-only status would’ve seen him overlooked in many SuperCoach Drafts. But, after 82 points in Round 1 and a huge 29-dispoal, 136-point performance against the Bulldogs at the weekend, it’s time to show the former Crow some love.

Aliir Aliir (Syd) Def

Scores: 83, 101

After returning to the side in Round 13 last year, the 23-year-old posted five scores in excess of 90, with three SuperCoach tons. And, after 93 and 101 in the first two games of 2019, the intercepting defender is fast-becoming a genuine option.

Brandon Ellis (Rich) Def

Scores: dnp, 89

If he’s in the side, Ellis, who averaged 97 or more in two of his first four seasons in the game, can’t be left in the free agent pool. After missing out at selection in Round 1, the 25-year-old was the second-ranked Tiger on the ground against the Magpies, finishing with 23 disposals and four marks, playing across half-back.

Willem Drew (Port) Fwd/Mid

Scores: 103, 90

While he’s only played two games of senior football, the third-year Power midfielder, whose game is suited to SuperCoach, is worth stashing on your bench. Drew has tallied 45 disposals, 19 contested possessions and 10 tackles in the opening two rounds.

Jordan Roughead (Coll) Ruck/Fwd

Scores: 67, 112

The former Bulldog could be handy dual-position back-up after tallying 20 disposals and 13 marks against the Tigers on Thursday night. Don’t expect a SuperCoach ton every week but he might pop up with one when the Magpies control possession.

Sam Petrevski-Seton (Carl) Fwd

Scores: 63, 108

The 21-year-old, again, showed his enormous talent, tallying 21 disposals, 10 contested possessions, six marks and 108 points against the Power. Petrevski-Seton was clean in tough conditions and he’s going to breakout in SuperCoach at some point. While there’s no guarantee it will be this year, if you’ve got a spot on your bench, it might be worth going early.

Charlie Constable (Geel) Mid

Scores: 85, 84

In his second game of senior football, the tall, second-year midfielder tallied 31 disposals in just 69 per cent game-time. That’s back-to-back scores of 80 or more and he should only get better. One for the SuperCoach Draft leagues with deep squads.

Jeremy Finlayson (GWS) Def

Scores: 64, 89

Keep an eye on the Giants over the next few weeks to see if Finlayson continues to take the kick-ins as he did in Round 2 against the Eagles. The 23-year-old finished with 19 disposals — 16 of them kicks — seven marks and 89 points.
