SAM Mitchell and Matt Priddis might be gone but a host of West Coast midfielders are ready to pick up the SuperCoach scoring slack.
In their first JLT clash of the pre-season, Luke Shuey (149), Andrew Gaff (138) and Jamie Cripps (97) ensured there would be no drop off in the Eagles’ engine room, all posting strong SuperCoach numbers and giving us a clearer idea of where we stand with this new-look team.

Meanwhile, there might be more questions than answers to come out of Port Adelaide’s stats.
New recruits Jack Watts and Steven Motlop didn’t get near it, while SuperCoach favourite Robbie Gray could be set for a stint on the sidelines.
Check out some of the interesting performances from Sunday’s game and scroll down to see every score for every player.
ANDREW GAFF $512,000 MID
He has averaged over 90 for the past three years and if today was any indication, Gaff could be ready to jump into the triple figure range in 2018. He won a stack of ball, laid a few tackles and looks ready to take his game to an even higher level in 2018. His 138 SuperCoach points were ultra-impressive on Sunday.
LIAM RYAN $117,300 FWD
This kid is an excitement machine. Pick him just so you can enjoy cheering even louder for his incredible marks and stunning goals. We promise it will be well worth it. Ryan kicked an early goal on Sunday and was never far away from the action. At that price, yes please!
ROBBIE GRAY $504,300 FWD
Should we be worried about Robbie? The star Power forward will come under the attention of match review officer Michael Christian after a high bump. The problem for Gray is that the man he bumped, Jeremy McGovern, didn’t return to the field. We all know how exciting Gray is but a week or two on the sidelines would not be a good start to 2018.
JACK WATTS $416,500 FWD
It wasn’t exactly the first day on the new job Jack Watts was hoping for. The big off-season recruit kicked a goal but had limited impact apart from that. He finished with 56 points. At a dangerous price of $416,000, you’d want to be seeing a lot more than that to find room for Watts.
