One of the AFL’s best off-field rivalries re-ignited on Sunday night, as Taylor Walker threw a sledge at Kane Cornes.
Walker’s comment came on a Fox Footy story, where the Port Adelaide record games holder claimed an AFL personality had been texting SEN sledging him and threatened to oust them on air.
“Simple. This bloke can dish it out but can’t take it. Grow up up and stop sooking!” the former Crows captain tweeted.

The tweet received overwhelming support, bringing in over 1700 likes.
Yet, Cornes responded to Walker on SEN SA Breakfast on Monday morning.
“It got a good response,” he said.
“I thought about replying but there’s no point.
“The problem for Taylor is, whether he likes it or not, there’s a lot of platforms that I talk on.
“I’m not sure the player wins in this situation because the next time he pulls out of a contest or something like that, we’ll be all over it.
“I admire the fight in him.”
This latest Twitter battle is just the latest in a long saga, which hit its peak in 2018 when Walker called Cornes a d***head.
