Port legend Kane Cornes and Crows star Taylor Walker reignite Twitter war over Twenty20 Showdown
Port Adelaide champion Kane Cornes and former Adelaide Crows skipper Taylor Walker have thrown sledges at one another ahead of next month’s Twenty20 Showdown.

Former Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker and Port Adelaide legend Kane Cornes have squared off on Twitter again ahead of the Twenty20 Showdown.
The game was made official yesterday, with it to go ahead on Sunday, February 2.

Walker was one of the first stars to put his hand up when the idea was first put forward by Twitter user Scott earlier this month, and will play in the game.
Yet, Cornes was quick to knock Walker’s cricketing abilities.

The Crows veteran invited the Power champ to face some of his deliveries in the charity fundraiser.

The exchanged continued, with Cornes calling out Walker’s effort against Shannon Hurn earlier this season, while the Crow retweeted a sledge directed at Cornes referring to his brief stint in firefighting.

It remains to be seen if Cornes will pull on the pads to face some of Walker’s deliveries.
All net proceeds from the match, including ticketing, catering, sponsorship and other donations from individuals, companies and sponsors will go to the state’s bushfire appeal.
