Glenelg has stormed back from 33 points down to force an incredible draw with South Adelaide at Glenelg Oval on Saturday.
There was a strange feeling over the ground after the Tigers missed three chances at the end to steal what would have been an unlikely victory.
South, which should have put Glenelg away but was wasteful in front of goal, would have felt the more hollow of the two sides following the stalemate.
Especially given it was popular club veteran Brad Crabb’s 200th game.

Spring-heeled forward Lachlan Hosie booted three majors for the Bays in a six-goal to two fourth quarter but it was Liam McBean, Marlon Motlop and Luke Reynolds’ behinds in the final two minutes which will stay in the minds of the Tigers.
“I was really pleased with the effort to fight ... because we want to build a brand based on that and not everyday is going to be a good one for you,” Glenelg coach Mark Stone said.
“We were able to hang in, not give up and find a way somehow. In the end we could have pinched it.
“It’s a funny feeling and I’m sure they’re the same.”
South coach Jarrad Wright said it was a tough one to swallow, given the Panthers could have gone 3-0 and top of the ladder with a win.
“To be 33-plus points up in the last quarter and not put the game to bed in the three quarters before that, it’s pretty disappointing,” Wright said.
“Especially on Crabby’s 200 – it was a pretty big day for him and the footy club, but unfortunately the boys crumbled under Glenelg’s pressure.”
Abe Davis dominated across the ground for the Panthers and Nic Schwarz led the way under the packs, before coming off in the last term with a hand injury.
Star Glenelg forward Josh Scott went down screaming in pain with a nasty arm injury in the third term. He was taken to hospital and likely faces a long stint on the sidelines.
Carl Nicholson was impressive for the Bays. Max Proud, youngster Will Gould and skipper Chris Curran stood up strong in defence.
