Port Adelaide vice-captain Hamish Hartlett has been fined $750 for his social media comments in the wake of Billy Frampton and Aidyn Johnson being reported in the second semi-final.
The SANFL imposed the financial sanction, and gave the veteran a reprimand, for breaching the regulations on social media comments which are detrimental or prejudicial to the welfare, image, spirit or best interests of the league and adversely critical of a decision of the tribunal/match review panel.
Hartlett questioned whether the league could make it any more obvious it does not want Port to win a premiership.
“Free kick counts are a disgrace (for both AFL reserves teams) every week, now suspensions for minor indiscretions like these,” Hartlett said. “Pathetic.”

Hartlett was reacting after Frampton and Johnson were charged for striking Glenelg captain Chris Curran in the second semi-final win.
Hartlett played three games in the state league this season, although AFL-listed players at Adelaide and Port Adelaide come under the SANFL regulations because they have teams in the state league.
Frampton will front in the grand final against the Tigers at Adelaide Oval on Sunday after successfully challenging his charge at the tribunal. He had been offered a one-game suspension with an early guilty plea, but it was downgraded to a $200 fine and reprimand.
Johnson was also offered a one-game ban for striking Curran. His challenge failed and he must now serve a two-game ban.
