Adelaide Crows star Eddie Betts calls out racist slur on Instagram post

ADELAIDE’S star small forward Eddie Betts has singled out a racist comment made after he posted an Instagram story showing him talking with Fremantle fans at Perth’s new Optus Stadium.

AFTER experiencing a tough day at the office on Sunday in Perth, Crows superstar Eddie Betts had to endure more pain on social media.

Despite the Adelaide small forward taking time to talk with Fremantle Dockers fans at Perth’s new Optus Stadium and post “I have time for everyone” he again became the topic of racist comments on Instagram.

Betts singled out the comment today in an Instagram story in obvious disgust.

One lucky fan posted a picture of him and Eddie to friends saying “I was on TV boys watch me on Channel 7”.

Another follower commented on his post, referring to the incident at Adelaide Oval when a spectator threw a banana at him when he was on the boundary line.

Betts responded to the vile racist slur with “I have no time for this”.
