The sale of a 1960s Burnside home that had been owned by the same family for more than 50 years was one of the highlights from auctions across Adelaide on Saturday.
The five-bedroom house at 71 Lockwood Rd was snapped up for $1.505 million - $505,000 above its reserve price.
It was one of about 70 properties that went under the hammer on Saturday, according to realestate.com.au, while CoreLogic data shows it was among 169 scheduled to be held throughout the week ending September 26.
