Prince Harry says he wishes he never googled Meghan Markle’s sex scenes from Suits and that he needs “electric-shock therapy” to get the images out of his head.
In another revelation from his memoir Spare he said when he began dating Ms Markle he had made “the mistake of googling and watching some of her love scenes online”.
“I’d witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room,” the Duke of Sussex, 38, said.
“I didn’t need to see such things live.”
Ms Markle, 41, played the character of Rachel Zane in the US TV series show for seven seasons to 2018.
Prince Harry says he broke the pact with the future king not to hurl barbs at each other after a physical spat with William who had branded Meghan “rude,” ”difficult” and “abrasive”.
The Duke of Sussex has vociferously batted accusations of hypocrisy for railing against invasions of privacy of his brother and breaking their agreement not to allow their press offices to leak negative stories about each other, saying, “My family has been briefing the press.”
In a clip for Prince Harry’s forthcoming ITV interview with Tom Bradby who asks, “Your brother would probably say to you ‘Harry, how could you do this to me?’”, to which he replies, “He’d probably say all sorts of different things.”
“That will be the accusation from the people that don‘t want to believe, or understand, that my family has been briefing the press,” he said.
Asked if he sees himself playing a future role in the monarchy, the Duke says, “I still (believe) in it … I don’t know.”
Asked if he will attend his father’s coronation in May, he says, “There‘s a lot that can happen between now and then.
“But the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There‘s a lot to be discussed.
“I really hope that they are willing to sit down and talk about it.”
The 90-minute interview to air on Sunday, two days before the release of Prince Harry’s autobiography Spare, is expected to see the Duke attack the monarchy further.
In his book Spare, leaked to The Guardian newspaper, Prince Harry writes that he and Prince William had a screaming match at his London Nottingham Cottage to discuss his relationship with the Suits American actress when he branded her “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive” shortly before Megxit.
The Duke of Sussex writes the ferocious row ended with the now Prince of Wales grabbing him by the collar and throwing him to the floor, shattering a dog bowl with his back.
Prince William is said to have insisted he was trying to “help” his younger brother during a meeting about “the whole rolling catastrophe” of their failing relationship and Prince Harry‘s fallouts with the press.
He claims he gave the heir to the throne a glass of water and said: ‘Willy, I can’t speak to you when you’re like this’.
Describing what he claims happened next, the former soldier insisted he was scared, writing that he set down the water and William “called me another name, then came at me.”
“It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor,” he writes.
“I landed on the dog‘s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”
Prince Harry also writes that when he was born, King Charles allegedly told Diana: ‘Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare – my work is done.’
In one extract from the book, he also refere to Prince William as his “beloved brother and arch-nemesis”.
When questioned about the quote in an clip from an interview Good Morning America’s anchor Michael Strahan, the Duke responded: “There has always been this competition between us, weirdly. I think it really plays into or always played by the ‘heir/spare”.”
In another separate excerpt, Prince Harry said he told his brother he was unable to understand why he was not happy with being ‘the spare’, accusing his brother of acting like an heir. Prince William told him he was trying to help him.
Prince Harry said: “Are you serious? Help me? Sorry – is that what you call this? Helping me?”
It was that comment, according to Prince Harry, which infuriated Prince William, causing him to swear and allegedly attack him.
