Saville arrived early for the nuptials, walking into the venue with his dog Tofu, around 4.15pm, while his now wife, Dasha made him sweat arriving 40 minutes later with her bridesmaids in an unconventional VW Kombi van.

Our exclusive photos captured the moment Gavrilova stepped out of the VW Kombi and she looked stunning in her white dress, while the groom Luke and his groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos.

The happy couple and their friends celebrated well into the evening with many complaining of a sore head this morning.

The now married pair will focus on the upcoming Australian Open to be played in January, with a honeymoon most likely following the tournament.

COST OF DE GOEY’S US TRIP REVEALED

Jordan De Goey’s eventful US trip is expected to cost him in the vicinity of $100,000 and it could escalate further.

The inked-up Collingwood bad boy is facing a very hefty bill for his eight weeks abroad.

Sheahan Ink has been told the bill will include:

– Legal fees to top New York firm Brafman and Associates;

– Business class flights to America;

– Flights across the US from coast-to-coast;

– Accommodation;

– Spending money.

De Goey’s intention was to head to California and train alongside some of his Monster Energy sponsored stable mates and fellow athletes in order to be fit and firing for a big season in 2022.

But the 25-year-old’s decision to fly to NY and party on Halloween could be a decision he comes to rue.

The legal bill alone for De Goey’s lawyer, who also acted for Harvey Weinstein, was $56,000, but may turn out to be money well spent.

It’s believed senior lawyer Jacob Kaplan argued the serious charge of forcibly touching a female to be dropped, which allowed De Goey to return to Australia and have the charges heard remotely.

De Goey’s accommodation bill is estimated to be at least $25,000 which includes hotels in California, New York and Las Vegas.

He also enjoyed Qantas’ business class hospitality, which is believed to have set him back $15,000.

His costs could be somewhat offset though by his $40,000 sponsorship cheque from Monster which played host to the Collingwood star.

De Goey’s lawyers are suggesting their star client is likely to face a fine over the US bar scuffle.

TV TENSIONS RUN HIGH

De Goey’s arrival back in Australia led to frustration between the Seven and Nine Networks.

The Seven Network is said to have paid for a tip off about De Goey’s arrival into Sydney which would have given the AFL broadcaster exclusive footage of the Collingwood star setting foot back on home soil.

Seven Melbourne sent new AFL reporter Mitch Cleary to Sydney to ‘doorstop’ De Goey at the terminal.

But with Covid’s new Omicron variant on our shores, Nine had one of its own journos in the arrival halls waiting for passengers to interview.

The happy coincidence for Nine allowed reporter Zara James to swoop in when she noticed Cleary quizzing De Goey, much to the frustration of the rival network.

TIGER REUNION

Richmond’s 2017 premiership team gathered at a Port Melbourne bowling club to celebrate the reunion of its biggest stars.

Covid has been keeping the boys apart which is why its taken so long for the Tigers to gather for beers at ‘the bowler’.

All the big names were present including Alex Rance, Shaun Grigg, now Saint Dan Butler, David Astbury, Dylan Grimes, Jayden Short as well as Port Melbourne local Dustin Martin.

Damian Hardwick was busy in the United States on a fact finding mission.

SHEAHAN INK’S SECRET SHORTS

Fox Footy’sOn The Couch program is likely to be bolstered by the inclusion of expert commentator Nathan Buckley in season 2022.

The former Collingwood coach turned AFL commentator is the strongest candidate to join the couch in the wake of Gerard Healy’s recent retirement as host.

Buckley’s strong opinions and expert analysis will hold him in good stead alongside Jonathan Brown and Nick Riewoldt, with Garry Lyon likely to host.

Hawthorn and Don Scott are believed to have found common ground on the issue of Scott’s legend status. Scott and president Jeff Kennett have put their issues aside with Scott agreeing he would accept the award.

Bathurst’s king of the mountain title is up for grabs as Ford takes on Holden for bragging rights in Australia’s biggest car race.

But it’s a battle off the track that has social media in a tailspin.

V8 Supercar bosses thought it best to move on major sponsor Supercheap Auto for the American backed Repco.

So Supercheap Auto has reverted to guerrilla marketing and sponsored a lot of the town’s businesses.

The retail outlet has branded their marketing campaign the ‘Supercheap Auto 1000 Bathursts’, which is a play on words from the Supercheap Auto 1000 from years gone by.
