A 54-year-old man has been taken to hospital after two men on dirt bikes allegedly trespassed on his property and assaulted him in a disturbing incident in Townsville’s rural area.

A 54-year-old man has been taken to hospital after two men on dirt bikes allegedly trespassed on his property and assaulted him in a disturbing incident in Townsville’s rural area.
It is alleged that two men on dirt bikes arrived at the property and assaulted a 54-year-old man on Clydesdale Place in Black River around 4pm on Sunday.
The alleged victim was later taken to Townsville University Hospital with minor injuries.
Upon police arrival, a 21-year-old Yabulu man was located at the scene, while a 42-year-old Rasmussen man was found shortly after.
Both men have been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and trespass.
They are due to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 31.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
