Weather forces cancellation to Australia Day events at Elder Park on Thursday night

Unexpected heavy rain across Adelaide has forced the cancellation of Australia Day events, expected for Thursday night.
The events, Aus Lights on the River at 5pm and the Twilight Reflections at 7.30pm – both held at Elder Park – have been cancelled due Thursday’s weather conditions.
The highly anticipated cinematic firework display scheduled for 9.30pm, has also been cancelled.
The Friday program with events running from 7am to 9.30pm will go-ahead as scheduled.
Organised by the Australia Day Council (SA) as part of this year’s two-day Australia Day program, the events showcase the state’s story, through “immersive visually engaging light, vision, and sound installations.
