Two men stabbed in a group fight at Brompton

Two men have been stabbed in a group fight northwest of the city.

Two people were stabbed in a group brawl at Brompton overnight.

The altercation which broke out on Hawker St was reported to police about 9.30pm Sunday.

On arrival police found a Woodville Park man, 22, with a stab wound to his back and a Seaton man, 22, with stab wounds to his upper arm and chest.

Both victims were rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries

It is not known how many people were involved in the fight, but police understand the offenders were male.

Anyone who may have witnessed the fight should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

It follows a spate of knife related incidents in Adelaide in recent weeks, including a fatal stabbing at Kilburn.

A woman, 45, was allegedly stabbed in the leg at a block of units on Brooklyn Terrace on January 13.

A woman, 26, was arrested and charged with murder.
