Two car crashes cause lengthy delays on the Southern Expressway
City-bound motorists saw lengthy delays on the Southern Expressway this morning after two separate crashes. Traffic is now flowing freely.

Traffic is now flowing freely on the Southern Expressway after two crashes caused major delays on Tuesday morning.
The two crashes, including one involving up to four cars and another involving at least two occurred within 400m of each other on the Southern Expressway at O’Halloran Hill near Majors Rd.
Police were at scene facilitating restrictions and arranging tows on Tuesday morning and the road completely reopened about 9.30am Tuesday.

There are no reports of serious injuries.
Cindy Pollard, of Huntfield Heights, said she was stuck on the busy thoroughfare for 40 minutes on her way to work in Mitcham.
She said the trip usually took about 10 minutes.
